the hubby: do you want to count, and I'll tell you when you get there?
the kid: okay. 1, 2, 3... (keeps counting)... 23, 24. *sigh* 71,
the hubby: hey!
the kid: well, I got tired of counting all those numbers, so I took a shortcut.
the hubby: I'll be 49.
the kid: no, I'm pretty sure 71 is right. you just forgot.
