volunteering at the kid's school has great rewards... and today I received the best one ever! his teacher had given him a "hard" book to read, just to see how he did, and he cruised right through it. she sent him to the library (where I was working the book fair!) so he could read the book to me... and when he returned to class, she called me to gush about how proud she was of him.
yeah, my eyes leaked. :-)
