God hears

the kid: mommy, when we talk in our heads, God can hear us. right?
me: yes, He can.
the kid: so if you want to talk to God but you don't want other people to hear what you're saying to Him, you can just think it in your head, and He knows what you're saying.
me: that's right.
the kid: yeah, 'cause I do that, you know. and I know God hears me. isn't that awesome?
me: yes. yes, it is.
