eye boogers
when the kid had goop in his eye at the beginning of his pinkeye experience, I referred to it as "eye boogers". now he is obsessed with the idea of having eye boogers...
the kid: mommy, do I have eye boogers?
me (looking him in the eye): nope.
the kid: look very closely. are you sure?
me: nope. no eye boogers. you're clear.
the kid: phew!
