the kid, pointing to a very small (almost healed) scratch on my arm: mommy, you need a baindaid.
me: no, it's okay.
the kid: but it hurts really really bad and you need a bandaid to make it feel better.
me: oh. I didn't know it hurts.
the kid: you're lucky to have me so I could tell you... daddy, please get mommy a spiderman bandaid for her owie.
